January 16, 2019

Me and my family just got back from Prosser open house. I was definitely it expecting it to be as boring as it was but all I did was stand there for an hour and wait for my sister to get done talking. My parents are out at dinner and I’m here righting this while listening to Alanis Morissette. My whole family hates her music but she is one of my favorite singers ever because her music is just so amazing, and most of my friends don’t even know who she is and I think it’s sad that kids don’t know great artists like her and a lot others exist. Amy Winehouse is my number one favorite singer of all time and not a single one of my friends know who she is, they only know now because I talk about her but her music just makes me so relaxed When I got home I practiced for auditions for the musical. I’m very, very nervous but also kind of excited because even if I don’t make it it will still be a fun experience to audition. My friend was crying today because his best friend came to visit him and told him it’s the last he’d ever see her but I feel bad because my other friend Desiree who’s also the girls best friend wasn’t here today so she didn’t even get to say goodbye. Yesterday I signed up for regular biology instead of honors biology and my mom got really upset with me because she said that I’m capable of doing honors biology but I think I’ll be overwhelmed because I’m doing orchestra, ROTC, and trampoline next year, but I’m going to do it so I don’t disappoint her. On the bus ride home I was really happy and I think I looked like an idiot because I was smiling so much but some of my favorite actors, who were in the best show ever, glee, released a new episode of their podcast where they talked about the first episode of glee with the main character, Lea Michele, and I was really happy because she’d never been on the podcast before and I like it when they have glee cast stars on their podcast.

January 15, 2019

Today was very tiring. I had to go to workshop after school and dance but now I have bruises on my back and my legs are sore from doing forward rolls on the hard stage floor. We also sung today too. We sung Bare Necessities and my voice had to go really high. It was difficult but I managed. I’m auditioning for a background character and I really hope I get in. Afterwards, we had to take my friend Brittany home because she didn’t have a ride but there wasn’t any room in the car so I had to lay on a stack of wood because my dad is a lumber salesman. After we dropped my friend off I had to sit on my sisters lap and she wouldn’t stop complaining. I went to gymnastics and I was late but it was still fun because after we finished our passes, we got to do silly salutes and the end of them. We went to trampoline and my friend Kadence, who is only 9, was doing very inappropriate things with her hands but she didn’t know that what she was doing was bad, so I started cracking up and my coach who is 23 saw it too and she knew that I knew what it meant, so it was really awkward for the rest of the night.

In history class today it got intense. We were told to raise our hands if we think that U.S citizens should not be aloud to own a gun and I was the only one to raise my hand but i’m fine with that because i’m proud of my opinion. I got kind of annoyed because people were saying “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people,” and that seriously makes no sense. If people kill people why make those murderous weapons available for them to do that? Republicans are annoying. After school I went to workshop for The Jungle book. I was planning on being a part of the crew but I decided to audition because it looks really fun and I don’t want to do theater in high school so this is really my only opportunity. Mrs. Kanes daughter was there to help us with our dance routines. She’s really pretty and it was kind of distracting, but i’ll just blame it on this really hard handstand thing I couldn’t do. I don’t know why I couldn’t do it because I’ve been in gymnastics since I was 3, so I’ve been practicing.Tomorrow we have to sing and i’m scared for auditions because i’m not really sure how they work.During the assembly in the PAC today I decided that i’m going to do the academic honors diploma with AP capstone which means i’m going to have to start paying a lot more attention in class which is hard for me to do sometimes. My mom was really upset when we got home because my dad is going to West Virginia and he lost his wallet so she had to take care of that, and we were going out to eat but she missed the turn so she had to cook dinner.

Today I got to wake up early because I had to get my braces tightened, and then I got to go to Dairy Queen and arrive at school late. I was really excited for today because we got to talk about NJROTC and I’m very interested in doing that. My family made a group chat and they keep talking to each other and it has nothing to do with anything concerning me so I don’t see why I have to be in it because it’s getting really annoying. I got 1 minutes and 3 scones on the bar hang in gym today and ai was really proud of myself because that was the high score in my class and now Sam has to give me $5 because we bet on whoever wins gets $5 and I won. I’m about to go to SIGS because I have trampoline practice. Everyone is really surprised when I tell them I do trampoline as a sport but it’s very fun.
